seasonmap is run by one person. Mail reaches them directly, and corrections get priority over everything else.

What to write about

• Corrections. If something in the field guide is wrong, or a map product is mislabeled, say so and it gets fixed and dated. Meteorology is a field where being wrong in public is normal; leaving it uncorrected is not.
• Bugs. A layer that won't load, a broken share link, a panel that misbehaves on your device. Including the URL from your address bar helps a lot — the full map state lives in the query string, so the link alone usually reproduces the problem.
• Data and methodology questions. How a layer is computed, what the verification pass scores against, why two models disagree on the map. These often turn into field-guide articles.
• Press, research, and data use. Attribution requirements and what may be reproduced are in the terms; anything beyond that, just ask.

The in-app feedback button

For anything tied to a specific map view, the feedback button inside the app is faster than email: it attaches the exact view context (layer, date, zoom, model run) to your message, which is usually the missing piece in a bug report. It goes into the same triage queue.

What this address is not

It is not a forecast desk and not an emergency channel. seasonmap is an informational tool built on public agency data. For warnings and life-safety decisions use the National Weather Service (weather.gov), NOAA Weather Radio, or your local emergency management office — see the terms of use.
